教学内容:
It is a reading lesson with the topic of going shopping, which is close to our daily life, can easily arouse students’ interest. In this lesson, I will involve the students in my class by listening, speaking and pair-work activities in a real situation. After this lesson, students will master vocabulary and expressions between a shopper and a shopkeeper.

教学过程:
Step 1. Warm-up 3mins
1. Greetings and watch a flash of Happy Birthday song.
2. Guess whose birthdays are coming up.
3. Tell students Amy wants to buy presents for Simon and Sandy. Let’s go shopping with Amy.
Step 2. Pre-reading
1. Amy is at Sunshine Shopping Mall. She is shopping. Listen to the tape and then complete a form.
2. Finish Part B3 on Page 84.
Step 3. While-reading
1. Skimming: Let the students read in silence. Give them two minutes and ask them to use their pens to underline some useful information and phrases.
2. Scanning: Have the students read by themselves loudly and then finish Part B2 on Page 83.
3. Read again and answer some questions.
4. Read the conversations and fill in the blanks with proper words.
Step 4. Post-reading
Make a survey in groups of three or four and then give a report. One of them will be a shopper and one is a customer.
Step 5. Homework
1. Finish the exercises in the workbook.
2. Preview Grammar.
