Step 1. Presentation

Present the new words with pictures and read them aloud.

poem   n. 诗歌

Step 2. Lead-in

Enjoy a poem ‘Millions of snowflakes’ to lead in this lesson.

  One little snowflake falls on my nose,

It makes me shiver from my head to my toes.

Two little snowflakes get in my eyes,

Blink! Blink! What a surprise!

Three little snowflakes melt on my tongue,

I eat them up, yum, yum, yum!

Step 3. Reading

    1. Listen to the first poem and fill in the blanks.

1.     Read aloud after the tape recorder then answer some questions.

(四、教学过程

1.预习导入

教师可以通过图片或知视频等方式引导学生思考宠物对人类的意义,并与学生分享自己的宠物经历。

2.阅读文章

教师带着学生学习本堂课的新词汇并播放一首诗歌引起学生的兴趣,然后在播放两首关于宠物的诗歌音频,引导学生跟读,并帮助学生理解文章内容,然后完成书上的相关练习。

3.合作学习

教师安排学生分组,并角色扮演,进行信息获取和分享,教师可以通过提问引导学生讨论,确保每个小组成员都能参与到合作学习中。

4.阅读理解选择题

教师提供阅读理解选择题,学生独立或小组合作回答问题。教师根据学生的回答情况进行评价和反馈,并帮助学生理解正确答案。

5.思维拓展

请学生相互讨论喜欢的宠物类型、生活习性、以及喜欢他们的原因。)

五、教学评价

教师可以通过观察学生在合作学习中的表现,以及阅读理解选择题的答案,对学生的阅读理解能力和合作学习能力进行评价。可以采用评分表、个人观察记录等多种评价方式.

六、教学拓展

可以邀请学生带照片或视频分享自己的宠物经历,并与其他同学进行交流和讨论。也可以安排小组活动,让学生合作完成以宠物为主题的小报告或展示。)

教学反思:

本课时通过欣赏一首诗歌《Millions of snowflakes》导入新课,激发学生对诗歌的热爱,同时让学生了解诗歌的韵律美。然后顺理成章地导入本课两篇诗歌,通过猜谜和简单的交谈了解各种不同宠物的名称和习性,激发学生学习的热情,为Reading的继续学习做铺垫。接下来回归到文本,通过多种方式解析两首诗歌,进一步欣赏诗歌的韵律美。在欣赏诗歌语言美、韵律美的同时,激发学生更好地热爱动物,善待宠物,达成本课时的情感目标。
